  • Scottish post-punk indie band Dead Pony, consisting of Anna Shields (vocals), Blair Crichton (guitar), Liam Adams (bass) and Euan Lyons (drums), premiered a new song “MK Nothing” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Jack Saunders.

Also, the track will appear on their upcoming debut album.
It was written by Anna Shields and Blair Crichton. Produced by Blair Crichton.
“MK Nothing came from a daydream about a wicked and cool girl who was MK Ultra mind controlled to go out and assassinate bad guys of the world,” the band lead singer Anna Shields said of the song. “It's the first time I've written lyrics where it felt like the story was already there in my head, in vivid, comic book colour, and all we had to do was put it down on paper.”
  • The band will support Scottish synth-pop band CHVRCHES's three shows at Rock City in Nottingham on June 9, Barrowland in Glasgo on June 10 and 11.
Also, The band embarks on their headline UK tour this fall. The tour kicks off at Aberdeen Tunnels in Aberdeen on September 6, 2023.
The band will perform some songs from their upcoming debut album. The band said, “We'll be playing some songs from our debut album for the first ever time ever on this tour so don't miss it.”
