Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Katelyn Tarver announced that she signed to Nettwerk Music Group.
She released the first single under her new label called “Starting To Scare Me” along with a music video on June 2, 2023.
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming sophomore album, which is expected to be released in 2024.
It was written by Katelyn Tarver and produced by Chad Copelin.
The accompanying video was directed by Skylar Brown.
The track delves into the vulnerable depths of her introspection, a raw and honest exploration of detrimental tendencies.
Katelyn Tarver said of the song, “This song is about indulging in self-destructive behavior because it's easier than doing the work of looking underneath it to try and figure out what's causing it in the first place. I've spent a lot of time running from my darker impulses, pushing them down, pretending they're not there... this song is about shining a spotlight on them and kind of liking the feeling even though it... well...uh... scares me.”- aT3xrqOfCbc
