Homes at Night Releases New Song “Texaco”
Nashville-based alt-rock duo Homes at Night, consisting of Hank Compton (guitar) and Aksel Coe (drums), released a new song “Texaco” on April 28, 2023 via Hazel Street Records/Orchard Enterprises.
The song is about embracing life’s transitional moment and letting go of toxic habits in order to grow.
The track was written by Raymond Aksel Coe and Hansel Paul Compton. Produced by Raymond Aksel Coe, Hansel Paul Compton, and Josh Lovell.
“I wrote this song from the perspective of an unhealthy relationship that emphasized my addiction, which is somewhat biographical,” Hank Compton said of the song. “The production needed to sound like a release or detachment, hence the dramatic, massive final chorus. I really hope the song can give people comfort and support that they’re not alone in the process of cutting off the habits inhibiting their lives.”
The duo is currently on tour with Saint Motel and will be joining Arts Fishing Club for dates in May and June.- source : Apple Music
