Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ The Know Releases New Song “Me”
Los Angeles-based dream pop duo The Know, consisting of Daniel Knowles and Jennifer Farmer, released a new song “Me” on January 31, 2023.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming second EP “EP2”, following “Used To Be” released last November.
It was written and produced by Daniel Knowles and Jennifer Farmer.
Daniel Knowles said of the song, “'Me' is a recollection of the start of a relationship and events between two people during lockdown but this one mostly covers the good stuff. It's a love song about the thrill you feel when you connect with another person."
The duo shared on social media, “While Used to Be chronicles the bad side of relationships during Covid, this one covers the good. 🖤🖤🖤”
The new EP is lyrically full of relatable snapshots of love, loss, isolation, uncertainty, sadness and connection. Completed during the pandemic and in a time of intense isolation, the EP was produced by Daniel Knowles and Jennifer Farmer and mostly recorded in their home studio in a short span of time.
