James Arthur Releases New Song “Heartbeat”
British singer-songwriter James Arthur released a new song “Heartbeat” on December 2, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “Lose You” with Dutch DJ Afrojack.
The track is about his first daughter, Emily. But he had already written another song for Emily entitled "Emily", which was featured on his fourth studio album “It'll All Make Sense in the End” released in 2021.
He teased the song along with cover art on social media in November. James Arthur shared, “thanks everyone for the lovely reaction to the song I attached to the announcement about the arrival of this little one poking out of me jacket. I wrote Heartbeat for her and we thank you for the love and support. It was meant to be hers, but if she lets me I might share the full version with you lot.”
The track was written by James Arthur, Steve Solomon, and Daniel Bingham. Produced by Alex Beitzke, Steve Solomon, and Randy Merrill.
James Arthur shared, “Dear Emily, Welcome to the world.. I've got a little announcement... Firstly let me say, the amount of love I've felt in the past couple of weeks is crazy.
