CLAY Teams Up With Alessia Cara for New Song “WTSGD”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter CLAY teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara to release a new song “WTSGD”.
The song follows up “Artery”, which was released back in January.
It was written and produced by Gabrielle Walter-Clay and Alessia Caracciolo.
CLAY and Alessia Cara shared on social media, “we wrote this song last year while in quarantine over facetime & it turned into something really special. it’s especially special because we wrote, performed and co-produced this song & this is both of our first producer credit! As women in an industry where the roles of engineer and producer are often filled by men, it is both exciting and liberating to be able to say that we engineered & co-produced this. even being the vocalists/writers that we are, we had to tap into a strength and confidence to believe we could accomplish things that we hadn’t previously thought we could. representation is absolutely essential, in every role, in every industry. 💙💙💙”- source : Apple Music
