American singer-songwriter Machine Gun Kelly released a new 3-track EP “lockdown sessions” ahead of his upcoming sixth studio album “Mainstream Sellout”, which is out March 25, 2022.
The EP features “Roll The Windows Up”, which pays homage to Mike Posner's “Smoke and Drive”, “Pretty Toxic Revolver”, which samples Shawn Mendes' “Mercy”, and PVRIS mash-up “In These Walls (My House)”.
Thee songs were all recorded in 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdowns. He delivered the songs via SoundCloud and YouTube last year.
Machine Gun Kelly tweeted, “It's been two years since 'lockdown sessions' hit YouTube, finally time to upload on streaming platforms…” He added in another tweet, “All this in celebration of MAINSTREAM SELLOUT coming soon 3.25.2022.”- source : Apple Music
