LOWES Returns With New Song “Late Night Visions”
- British alt-pop band LOWES returned with a new song “Late Night Visions” alongside a music video on January 28, 2022.
It is their first music in four years since the 2018 EP “Elements”, except collaborative songs.
The track samples American singer Loleatta Holloway's 1980 song “Love Sensation”.
It was written by Evie Plumb, Luke Paget, Jamie Walker and Dan Hartman. The accompanying music video was directed by Roisino.
LOWES shared on social media, “Its the first song we've released purely under the 'LOWES' name since before last year's collaboration series and we're so buzzed for you to hear it!! We originally used Loleatta Holloway's iconic sample as a placeholder when Evie was out of the studio but it sounded so brilliant, we couldn't bare to replace it! When we were given permission to use it we were over the moon!✨🌛 We had so much fun making this record and special thanks must go to Matt Johnson for his epic synths, Loleatta Holloway for her timeless vocals, and our whole team for their tireless work and support.”
- The song will appear on their upcoming project. Frontwoman Evie Plumb said, “For us it's the first set of songs we've put out into the universe that will be totally our own after a year of collaborations. Working with so many brilliant dance producers has been a fantastic, yet unplanned, surprise for us, and we have learnt so much, but now it's time for us to get back to the pure LOWES vibe we set out to create when we first got together, taking on board a lot of the energy and style that we've been immersed in these past 12 months.”
