Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Peach PRC Shares New Music Video for “Heavy”
Australian singer-songwriter Peach PRC has shared a new music video “Heavy”.
She first performed a demo of the song on TikTok in June 2020 and officially released it in November 2021.
Also, the song is the forth single under major label Republic Records, who signed to her in February 2021.
She wrote the song before the major debut song “Josh”. Both songs are inspired by her ex-boyfriend. The video was directed by Stephanie Jane Day.
Stephanie Jane Day said of the video, “The film we made for Peach PRC's Heavy embraces the more interior and vulnerable side of us all, the isolation of feeling like a difficult person and knowing that you have a lot to give despite it. Finding peace and acceptance in the things you don't have and can't control.”
She continued, “I wanted to indulge on Peach's behalf and take all this to a place of peace and beauty. I wanted the film to complement the song – I wanted Peach to know that even though she feels heavy – she has everything she needs to soar”.- source : YouTube
