Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ CASISDEAD Premieres New Song “Boys Will Be Boys” on BBC Radio 1
London-based rapper CASISDEAD returned with the previous song “Park Assist” featuring La Roux for the first time in three years back in September.
Following the song, he premiered a new song “Boys Will Be Boys” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The track was written by CASISDEAD and produced by Felix Joseph.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ed Skrein.
“I wrote this film as a response to my unsettling experiences in front of the paparazzi,” director Ed Skrein said of the video. “The glare of the paparazzi is a sharp dagger, the flame of celebrity attracts many moths. I was lucky to go through this later in my life when I was mature enough to see it for what it is. After hearing CASISDEAD's reflective lyrics on 'Boys Will Be Boys', it made me consider my own experiences through the lens of a young, naïve actress.”- source : BBC Radio 1
