Wrabel Releases Debut Album “these words are all for you”: Streaming
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Stephen Wrabel, aka Wrabel released his long-awaited debut album “these words are all for you” on September 24, 2021 via Big Gay Records and Nettwerk Music Group.
The album comprises of 11-track, featuring guest appearances from Duncan Laurence and Madi Diaz. Produced by STINT and Stuart Crichton.
All songs were written by Stephen Wrabel. Co-writers are Ali Tamposi, Cole Citrenbaum, Drew Pearson, Jesse Thomas, Jon Mills, Kurtis McKenzie, LÉON, and Stuart Crichton.
Wrabel said of the album, “This record is a collection of pages torn from my diary — stories and truths, like an autobiography of sorts of the past 8-10 years of my life.”
The album is his first project since the 2020 EP “Piano” and first record under Nettwerk Music Group.
He signed to Island Records and debuted with the EP “Sideways” in 2014.
Afterwards, he signed to Epic Record and released the EP “We Could Be Beautiful” including his smash hit “11 Blocks”.
Also, he is better known as songwriter for Pink, Kesha, Backstreet Boys, Tori Kelly, Louis Tomlinson, Ella Henderson, Bishop Briggs and more.
And he has collaborated with many artists since debut, like Kygo, Afrojack, Marshmello, Cash Cash, Louis The Child, and more.
But this project is surprisingly his debut album.- He said, “I can't believe this is my debut album. It's been years in the making. The oldest song is around eight years old, and the newest, just a few months. I poured everything into this record and I am just so proud of it. I feel so lucky to have been able to make it with people so close to me and as an independent artist on my own label partnered with Nettwerk. I always thought my first record would be a break-up record, since the first time I started making it it very much was. This album is filled with love. Hope. True stories and true feelings. I hope me sharing in this way helps even one person feel understood, feel better, feel like they're not alone, and it offers hope that love will come and bring the healing powers it holds.”
