- London-based electro-pop band Rudimental released a new song “Remember Their Names” from their upcoming fourth studio album “Ground Control”.
The band teamed up with British singer-songwriter Josh Barry for the song.
The track was written by Amir Amor, Josh Barry, Kesi Dryden, Leon Rolle, Matthew Coleman and Piers Aggett. Produced by Rudimental.
Rudimental shared on social media, “Today we've released 'Remember Their Names', a new single from our upcoming album 'Ground Control'... we made this song recently, to celebrate how so many people, regardless of background or creed, can come together to protect our liberties when we need it most... it features the legendary MJ Cole and Josh Barry 👊🚀”
The new album is set to be released on September 3, 2021.
- Recently, Rudimental and British singer-songwriter James Newman has won a High Court case against an ex-Voice UK contestant Kelly-Marie Smith.
The band and James Newman were sued by Kelly-Marie Smith who claimed their chart-topping hit “Waiting All Night” was copied 'knowingly or unknowingly' from a song she recorded in 2007 “called Can You Tell Me?”. But a judge has dismissed her claim.
“Waiting All Night” was released in 2013, written by James Newman, Jonny Harris, Leon Rolle, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and Piers Aggett.
