Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ U.S. Girls Premieres New Song “Overtime” on Apple Beats 1
Toronto-based experimental pop project U.S. Girls premiered a new song “Overtime” on Beats 1 radio show.
Also, the project announced that their seventh studio album “Heavy Light” will be released on March 6th.
“Overtime” is the first single off of the album and with an accompanying music video, directed by frontwoman Meg Remy.
The clip features Andrea Nann of Dreamwalker Dance Company and filmed at Deity Metallurgy.
The track was written by Meg Remy, Basia Bulat and Onakabazien. E Street Band saxophonist Jake Clemons played on the song.
The album comprises of 13-track and was recorded live in the studio with 20 session musicians including Jake Clemons.
