Tom Walker Premieres New Song “Now You're Gone” featuring Zara Larsson
Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker released his long-awaited debut album “What a Time to Be Alive” on March 1, 2019.
The album comprises of 13-track including “Leave A Light On” which has over 350 million streams and hit #1 on the music charts in 20 countries.
Last month, Tom Walker won British Breakthrough Act with the song at The 2019 Brit Awards.
From the album, he shared “Now You're Gone” featuring Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson on the same day.
It was written by Tom Walker, Chelcee Grimes and Steve Mac.
He said about working with Zara Larsson in an interview with L'Officiel, “She came into the studio when the track was like half-written, so I didn't actually get to work with her per se, but she's amazing, mate.”- He continued, “I've loved her for so long. She did a live lounge in the UK on Radio 1 a long time ago and did "Ain't My Fault" and she was there with this Gospel drummer with all these amazing chops. She's just a proper all singing, all dancing, pop star, so to have her on my debut album is sick. It's so sick. I'd obviously love to meet her. Yeah, she came into the studio and me and Steve Mack were working on the tune. I was away on tour I think and she came in one day to do a track with him and heard the song. Steve asked her to vocal it and she said no problem and then we just ended up where we were. Our two voices sound so cool together. You would never know we weren't in the same room listening to the song."
