American singer-songwriter MOD SUN teamed up with Travis Barker of blink-182 again to release a new song “Down”.
The song is the first taste from his upcoming fifth studio album, which is expected to be released in 2022.
It was written by Travis Barker, Derek "MOD SUN" Smith, Alex Delicata and Aaron Zuckerman.
MOD SUN shared on social media with a cover photo of the single, “When I was a kid my room was covered in posters of Travis, he is one of the reasons I fell in love with music + am here today…so we recreated what it looked like for the single cover, y’all gotta zoom in on the photo it’s iconic. This song is super special to me + will be the first taste of my new album…”
MOD SUN and Travis Barker previously worked together on the 2014 song “Never Quit” and Machine Gun Kelly's film “Downfalls High”, where they performed “Bloody Valentine”.
Earlier this week, MOD SUN announced that he will co-direct a new film “Good Mourning with a U” with Machine Gun Kelly.
Principal photography has commenced in Los Angeles. The film is being produced by Cedar Park Studios, and will be released theatrically in the US via Open Road Films.- Photo by daniel
