Arizona-based singer-songwriter Just Tommy released a cover of Christina Perri's “A Thousand Years” and a new music video for “Playing for Likes”.
The original version of “A Thousand Years” was released by American singer-songwriter Christina Perri from the 2011 film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” soundtrack.
It was written by Christina Perri and David Hodges. This time, Just Tommy worked with a producer Chuck Alkazian for the song.
“Playing for Likes” was released back in May as his first single of 2020. “The concept started with a question: What drives us to share the things we do on social media with our friends, family, followers, strangers, and the world,” Just Tommy explained. “The inspiration behind the video for “Playing for Likes” is in the name. Originally, I'd planned on having a bunch of people submit tiktok-style videos and then my dude would stitch them together and make a sick video. Because people are people, that plan zero percent worked, so I went to plan B and just shot a music video and had some fun with my family. The kids in the video are my cousins.”- eHJ10c7gpsA
