New York-based singer-songwriter Mercer Henderson released a new song “Bad Timing” on March 15, 2024.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Pop with Mollie King.
The song is follow-up to Sidelines, which was released last November.
Also, it is the first release under her new label Sad Girl Records.
The track was written by Mercer Henderson, and Jesse Bluu, who also produced it.
Mercer Henderson said of the song, “‘Bad Timing’” was inspired by a passionate relationship that was cut short because the 'timing' wasn’t right. This song captures that feeling of falling for someone and thinking this could be forever love, only to have things abruptly change, leaving behind a lot of unanswered questions and making familiar places and memories unbearable.”- Whilst she prepares for her debut EP, Mercer also gears up for her first North American tour with UK breakthrough artist Dylan in April 2024.
The tour kicks off at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on April 4, 2024.
