British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters released a new song “Not Another Rockstar” on October 7, 2022.
The song is her fourth single after releasing the debut album “You Signed Up For This”, following “Good Enough”, “Blonde” and “Cate's Brother”.
It was written by Ines Dunn, Joe Rubel and Maisie Peters. The track is a little bit pop-punk vibe sound like “Cate's Brother”.
She has already filmed a music video for the song, which is coming soon.
“I wrote 'Not Another Rockstar' about my very debatable track record with men,” Maisie Peters said of the song. “The song aims to make fun at me and my decisions and them and their guitars, and it feels right that I wrote it with Ines who is my best friend because she was literally rolling her eyes at every line like 'too real'. I hope everyone comes out of this song realising the true rockstar was in fact me. Obviously. No longer the rockstar's girlfriend, we are the whole rockstar these days, girls.”- She shared on social media, “this is a song about a certain type of person, written by a girl who's met one too many of them but is officially drawing a line (famous last words). ”
Maisie Peters embarks on “I'm Telling The Whole Of America Tour 2022” in November. Queer Houston singer-songwriter Madeline The Person will support the tour.
The tour kicks off at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on November 4, 2022.
