  • NEAVV Returns With New Song “Want You”

  • Canadian singer-songwriter Brooke Gray Harris, aka NEAVV returned with a new song “Want You” on June 16, 2022.
The song is first single in four years since the 2018 debut album “Fall Hard. Get Sad.”.
Also, the song is the first single off of her upcoming sophomore album.
It was written and produced by Brooke Gray Harris.
“'Want You' is the first single off my forthcoming album, a collection of songs I wrote, recorded and produced while navigating life from my tiny studio by the ocean,” Brooke Gray Harris said. “'Want You' is an emotional and honest song that was inspired by the end of my relationship with someone who wasn't being completely honest at the time. It's a snapshot of what I was feeling right after it happened. I knew I deserved better but I was still struggling with wanting and missing that person even though I knew they had already moved on.”
She continued, “Loss can be pretty complex when it comes to the emotions you feel, but at the core of it all for me is sadness. I just hope listeners find a place to sit in whatever emotions come up for them and know that any loss is hard – and it's ok to not be ok.”
  • Currently, she based on Gabriola Island, Canada. She said, “Increasingly frustrated by the lack of women in the studio, I decided it was time to be part of the change and learn how to produce. Shortly after the pandemic hit, within a week I gave up my Toronto apartment, sold almost everything I owned and hit the road in my 2000 Honda CRV for BC. Two ferries and 4,500 km later, I landed on Gabriola Island to wait out the pandemic with family and teach myself how to record and produce my own music.”
The new album is expected to be released in 2022.
