With The Punches Releases New Song “Almost Everything”
- New York-based pop-punk band With The Punches, consisting of Jesse Vadala, Dustin Wallace, Mike Corvasce, Vinny Guzzardi and Shane Maziekien, will release their new 5-track EP “Discontent” on May 27, 2022 via their new label home, Mutant League Records.
From the EP, the band unveiled the second single called “Almost Everything” along with a music video, following “Stoneham Blues”.
It was written by Jesse Vadala, Dustin Wallace, Mike Corvasce, Vinny Guzzardi and Shane Maziekien. Produced by Brendan Williams.
The accompanying music video was directed by Alex Zarek.
Jesse Vadala said of the song, “I hate a lot of the posturing and destructive trends in media & music marketing specifically. That kind of puppeteering was the aim of the chorus lyrics specifically while the verses speak a bit more to the long term effects. There is something infinitely cool about writing and creating something in a specific moment of time, that is truly unique to only those in the room or on the field. Music and writing songs with WTP has always felt that way to me. There was no marker to measure against in those rehearsal rooms and because of it, what poured out has only been real.”
The new EP is their first project in a decade since the 2012 album “Seams & Stitches”. Produced by Brendan Williams.
