Nashville-based powerhouse duo Towne has unveiled a new song “Camouflage” following previous song "Let Me Let You Go".
The song wa premiered exclusively on Direct Lyrics. The track reminds us of Fleetwood Mac.
Towne consists of Steevie Steeves (Vocals) and Jon Decious (Vocals, Guitar). Steevie Steeves performed in classic rock cover bands , as well as performing R&B and Jazz shows before moving to Nashville. Jon Decious is former bassist for punk-rock band The Pink Spiders. He joined in Anderson East’s debut album "Delilah" in 2015.
They started writing and performing together in Nashville. The duo debuted an EP "Games We Play" in 2017.
Steevie Steeves told Direct Lyrics about the song;
“I think everyone has had an experience where they feel invisible, neglected, or unnoticed at some point in their lives - whether it be romantically, professionally, or otherwise. It’s so frustrating if you risk it and put yourself out there for love, friendship, life, or business, and find it’s getting you nowhere. We were all airing our frustrations that morning in the writing room and the idea of feeling like “camouflage” started getting tossed around... Then our co-writer, Bonnie Baker, hit that piano lick and we were off to the races. It all really came together in what we hope is a song that relates to those feelings."- source : Directlyrics
