American singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan released a new song “Glad You Did” along with a music video on April 5, 2024.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming third studio album “Me Again”, which is set to be released on May 17, 2024.
She recorded the song in Nashville with co-writer and producer King Henry, who also is her husband.
The accompanying video was directed by Slater Goodson, who filmed in Nashville and also created the videos for the previous songs “Me Again” and “Highlights”.
Sasha Alex Sloan said of the video, “This is one of my favorite videos I've been a part of. This video is representative of me packing someone's stuff up for them and moving them out of a bad situation. What I didn't realize until I watched it back is how it could also be about me.”- The new album is the first release as an independent artist for her, and comprises a 13-track, featuring a guest appearances from American singer-songwriter Ruston Kelly.
She said of the album, “With this album, I wanted to be more honest, because I was fucking sad. This album is very emo if you can't tell so far so I hope yall are ready to cry lmao.” - source : Apple Music
