  • London Grammar Announces New Album “The Greatest Love”, Shares New Song “House”

  • British indie pop band London Grammar, consisting of Hannah Reid (vocals), Dominic 'Dot' Major (keyboard) and Dan Rothman (guitar), has announced their fourth studio album “The Greatest Love” will be released on September 13, 2024.

The album is their first LP in three years since the 2021 album “Californian Soil” and comprises a 10-track.

The band said, “Music - we shape it as it shapes us. Somehow this new record defines us. Our friendship, our heartache and our joy. We're so excited to share this project with you and have loved the journey we've been on with it so far.”

From the album, the band unveiled the first single called “House” on April 5, 2024.
The track was written by Daniel Rothman, Dominic Major, and Hannah Reid. Produced by London Grammar.
The accompanying music video was directed by WAXXWORK.
  • The band lead singer Hannah Reid said of the song, “'House' is about drawing boundaries around yourself. When I hit my thirties, my mindset shifted, and I no longer felt like a victim of anything - it all felt within my power. I thought, making music should be fun, and we're gonna make that happen.”

  • Hannah Reid said, “I think the greatest love for me is about connecting with your authentic self. It's about finding that feeling, I suppose within yourself.”

Dan Rothman said, “When 'House' was first written, it was one of those songs that came about quite quickly, more or less in a day... born from a concept about a feeling of home. It came out quickly in its initial form, but then took a long time and many different versions to complete.”

Dominic 'Dot' Major said, “Sometimes we have songs where we have to do lots and lots of versions, and we never quite nail it. I can't even explain what George did to 'House', we had so many efforts at getting it right and then as soon as he had it in his hands, it was just like it felt perfect.”
