PHIA Announces Debut EP “Talk To Me”, Shares New Song “Friends Don't Kiss”
London-based singer-songwriter PHIA has announced her debut EP “Talk To Me” will be released in May 2024 via LAB Records.
PHIA said of the EP, “These songs are my real life experiences. The things I never got to say through some of the worst and some of the best times of my life. They come from the heart, I'm someone who feels so deeply so I hope it allows people to feel connected to my world.”
From the EP, PHIA unveiled a new song “Friends Don't Kiss” on March 15, 2024.
The song is the third single off of the EP, following “Talk To Me” and “Everything's Not Fine”.
She co-wrote the song with producer BLANDA in Los Angeles.
PHIA said of the song, “I wanted the sound to elevate the story; the mystery and tension in the lyrics... I didn't want it to sound clean or pretty as the situation I was in wasn't that. It's gritty and I love how the post chorus explodes with the guitar, releasing some of that tension.”- Photo by Em Marcovecchio
