Los Angeles-based post-punk singer-songwriter Kit Major released the first single of 2024 called “Let Me In Your Band” on March 13, 2024.
The song follows up “Dirty Misfit”, which was released last October.
Fusing elements of punk, post-punk, and surf rock, born out of a desire to join the ranks of rock legends, the track exudes a raw energy that is both infectious and anthemic.
The track was written by Kit Major.
Kit Major said of the song “I don't play guitar, but I love guitar solos, see my problem here? 'Let Me Be In Your Band' is a pure rock n roll fantasy track, inspired by my love of post-punk, surf rock, and psych rock. It gives me permission to be completely reckless and feel badass - like I'm both Iggy Pop and Blondie.
