London-based pop singer-songwriter Florrie will release her highly-anticipated debut album “The Lost Ones” on June 14, 2024.
The album comprises a 12-track, produced by Florrie, Brian Higgins, and Ben Taylor.
Florrie said of the album, “I have been waiting to make my debut album for the last 12 years and it deserved all the time and love I've put into it.”
From the album, she released the second single called “Kissing In The Cold” on April 19, 2024, following “The Lost Ones”.
In the track, Florrie reflects on a past relationship, contemplating how things might have unfolded had they met at another point in their lives.
The track was written by Ben Taylor, Brian Higgins, Clara McHugh, Florrie Arnold, Keir MacCulloch, Kyle Mackenzie, Owen Parker, Pablo Mir-Mir Arañó, and Takura Tendayi. Produced by Florrie, Brian Higgins, and Ben Taylor.
Florrie said of the song, “This song is my favourite from the new album, and is both full of hope and longing. I think it's something everyone has been through at some point in their lives; looking back and wondering if they made the right decision.”- The accompanying music video was filmed by Archie Campbelland in Northampton and edited by Joe Desantis.
The video reflects the meaningful story of the track.
She said of the video, “I really wanted to create that feeling of nostalgia, a hazy memory that pops into your head when you're just falling asleep. For me these are the times when I'm reminded of those distant happy memories of early relationships, when nothing really mattered but you had no idea what you were doing!
