Australian singer-songwriter Keith Urban and American rapper Snoop Dogg teamed up to release a new song “Let It Roll” on April 12, 204.
The song is taken from an upcoming animated film “The Garfield Movie” soundtrack.
The track was written by Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., Gerald Trottman, Ghian Wright, Kayla Morrison, Keith Urban, and Michael Hodges. Produced by Michael Hodges.
Keith Urban shared on social media, “Out of the blue, I got a call from Garfield asking if I'd sing and play on a song for his movie. He told me Snoop Dogg was locked in and I thought that was super cool. The only thing cooler would've been Garfield in the studio with us...so I asked !! He said no. Huge bummer. Apparently, the guy hates Mondays.”- The film is based on American comic strip “Garfield” created by Jim Davis. It chronicles the life of the title character Garfield the cat, his human owner Jon Arbuckle, and Odie the dog.
The film was directed by Mark Dindal, starring voices Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang, and Snoop Dogg.
