London-based alt-pop singer-songwriter CATTY released a new song “Healing Out Of Spite” on April 12, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “I Dated A Monster”, which was released last month for the first time in two years.
The track is about coming out the other side, feeling stronger than ever.
It was written by Barnaby Cox, Catrin Hopkins, and Dani Sylvia. Produced by Barns Noble.
CATTY said of the song, “I was at a point in my life where I was sick of trying to please everyone because it was at the expense of myself. This song became a mantra or a manifestation, a movement of sorts and I think it worked; I feel so much braver than the version of myself that wrote it.”- She shared on social media, “This song has almost become like a mantra or a manifestation for me. a movement of sorts! and it works! healing out of spite works! we sold out my headline show! What an honour it is to write and work with Dani Sylvia and Barns Noble. this song started in the car on the way to the studio. I feel so lucky to know you. thank you”

CATTY announced her debut headline show will be held at The Grace in London on July 4, 2024. Tickets for the set sold out within a day.
She said, “I just announced a headline show, which is absolutely crazy. I have wanted this for the longest time. I've seen everybody else do their headline show and I thought, when are we going to do it?”
She added, “I signed my first record deal when I was 18 and I'm now 26 and have never done a solo headline show. This has been a long time coming and I am so genuinely excited.”
