Mistine Releases New EP “Lonely”
American alt-pop singer-songwriter Christine Meisenhelter, aka Mistine released her sophomore EP “Lonely” on June 28, 2024.
The EP is her first project in two years since the 2022 debut EP “Fade”.
The EP comprises a 5-track, featuring a guest appearance from Brooklyn-based indie pop singer-songwriter Wiley Beckett, produced by Christine Meisenhelter, Andy Gannon, LeClair, and Wiley Beckett.
The collection of songs captures moments in time from growing in love, heartbreak, and friendship, confusion, longing, loneliness.
Mistine said of the EP, “This ep takes the listener through my exploration and confusion into life and love. It captures moments in time from growing in love, heartbreak, and friendship, confusion, longing, loneliness. My songs are made to listen to while you're driving in your car, right before sunset, when the sky is just turning orange; windows down, hair flowing in the breeze, timeless nostalgia. I thrive on the connections between others and myself. Why are we the way we are? Why do we do what we do?”- She shared on social media, “Beyond excited to launch this project into the universe. this collection encompasses the exploration of love and friendship and loneliness and how they all intertwine - dealing with the waves of emotion and beauty in all of it. I wrote this at a time when I was starting to learn that I am not alone. I've had moments where I could be lying on the couch next to someone I love and still miss them - being in the same room doesn't make you close to someone, feeling understood does. this project helped me to learn that there is so much love to give and receive in the world to feel seen and all the ups and down of that are so magical.”
