Cat Burns Covers Artemas' “i like the way you kiss me” on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge
London-based singer-songwriter Cat Burns appeared on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge to perform a cover of British singer-songwriter Artemas' “i like the way you kiss me”, and her original song “end game” from her debut album “early twenties”.
The original version of “i like the way you kiss me” was released by Artemas from his upcoming sophomore mixtape “Yustyna” back in March.
The song reached No. 3 on the UK Singles chart and No. 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The track was written by Artemas Diamandis, Jesse Fink, Kevin White, and Daintree.
“end game” is featured on her debut album “early twenties”, which was released on July 12, 2024.
The album reached No. 7 on the UK Albums chart.
The track was written by Cat Burns, Gerard O’Connell and Jordan Riley.- Cat Burns said of the song, “Jordan Riley & Gez O'Connell crazy how out of the 4 songs we've written together, 3 of them have been singles haha, but thank you both for sticking with me through the lyrics changes and production changes, I just wanted it to be perfect. After getting through probably the hardest week of my life this song coming out has allowed me to have a little pocket of joy. I know grandads looking down smiling & probably proud of me for still moving forward, but I learnt from the best.”
