Los Angeles-based Israeli singer-songwriter Mergui has announced his sophomore EP “Shadows of Blue” will be released on May 9, 2024.
The EP is his first project in two years since the 2022 debut EP “Dark Side of the Rainbow”.
From the EP, Mergui unveiled the second single called “Happy Now?” on March 28, 2024, following the release of “Cry” last month.
He first performed the song on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The track was written by Alejandro Lerner, Jonathan Mergui, Lucio Dalla, and Álvaro Rodriguez. Produced by K-Kov, Varo, Mergui, and Haim Saban.
Mergui said of the song, “It’s a song about seeing your ex with someone new for the first time and genuinely wanting them to be happy, but also feeling hurt and wishing you could move on, too.”- source : Apple Music
