Last month, American rock band The Lemon Twigs, consisting of Brian D'Addario (vocals/guitar) and Michael D'Addario (vocals/guitar), announced their upcoming fifth studio album “A Dream Is All We Know” will be released on May 3, 2024.
From the album, the band released the third single called “A Dream Is All I Know” on March 13, 2024.
The track was written by Brian D'Addario and Michael D'Addario, and produced by The Lemon Twigs.
The accompanying music video was directed by The Lemon Twigs, who filmed in New York city.
The clip pictures the band moving through their day in an absurdist reverie, skipping through scenes at school, on stage, in the clouds.
The band said of the song ina press release, “This song is about impermanence and the dreamlike nature of our day to day lives. It was written when I was feeling a strong sense of unreality in my kitchen. Unfortunately, 'Unreality In My Kitchen' didn't have much of a ring to it so we had to go with 'A Dream is All I Know' as the title.”- The new album comprises a 12-track and was recorded completely live to tape and mixed and mastered by Brian D'Addario and Michael D'Addario themselves.
The album revisits the 1968 sound the band teased the potential of making almost a decade ago on Do Hollywood.
The band embarks on their headline tour 2024 in the US, the UK and Europe. The tour kicks off at TV Eye in Brooklyn on April 25, 2024.
