London-based singer-songwriter Cat Burns released a new song “end game” on April 26, 2024.
The song is taken from her upcoming debut album “early twenties”, which is set to be released on July 12, 2024.
It was written by Cat Burns, Gez O'Connell, and Jordan Riley who also produced the track.
Cat Burns shared on social media, “To Jordan Riley & Gez O'Connell crazy how out of the 4 songs we've written together, 3 of them have been singles haha, but thank you both for sticking with me through the lyrics changes n production changes, I just wanted it to be perfect. After getting through probably the hardest week of my life this song coming out has allowed me to have a little pocket of joy. I know grandads looking down smiling & probably proud of me for still moving forward, but I learnt from the best.”- The debut album comprises a 17-track (the deluxe edition 25-track), produced by inverness, JonahPH, Jordan Riley, Kurisu, The Nocturns, Steve Mac and Stuart Price.
Cat Burns said of the album, “early twenties is my love letter to this period of time in my life. It's my attempt at showcasing the highs and lows of being in your early twenties. The album talks about romantic relationships, both my own and people closest to me, whilst also speaking about self introspection and accepting who you are.” -
Cat Burns embarks on her first ever headline tour in support of the debut album in the UK and Europe. Th tour kicks off at Melkweg Max in Amsterdam, Netherlands on October 6, and will conclude at The Roundhouse in London, UK on October 18, 2024.
