New York-based pop singer-songwriter Ella Galvin released the second single called “Do Not Disturb” from her upcoming debut EP on April 12, 2024, following the first single “Spare Me”.
The track is a dreamy pop with a levity - driven home by the playfully interpolated voice note that concludes the track - that makes it utterly captivating.
The track was written by Ella Gredmond and produced by Tucker Bickell.
Ella Galvin said of the song, “I wrote this song about a situationship I was in last year. Late at night on the weekend when I didn't go out, I would put my phone on 'Do Not Disturb' but allowed notifications from this person. The lighthearted and energetic vibe, with a touch of playful over-editing, mirrors the carefree attitude I had towards this relationship. The song reflects my strange indifference but intrigue towards this relationship.”
