Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Hunter Daily released a new song “California Poppies” on March 29, 2024.
The song is the second single of 2024, following the release of “Girl Friend” back in January.
The track features the theme of self-growth and change that comes with inevitable goodbyes.
It was written by Hunter Daily, Jason Merris Bell, and Jordan Rand Miller. Produced by Jason Bell and Jordan Miller.
Hunter Daily said of the song, “Starting over comes with inevitable goodbyes. They’re bittersweet - they give you an opportunity to move on, but also force you to close a chapter, which has always been really difficult for me. Things don’t just end, rather they evolve and transform. To have an optimistic, open mind about endings might be a little bit delusional, but I prefer it that way. To me, thinking that way is more magical and less morbid.”- Hunter Daily will support American singer-songwriter Leah Kate's “Super Over Tour” in the UK and Europe.
The tour kicks off at Santeria Toscana 31 in Milan, Italy on May 6 and will conclude at The Academy, Middle Abbey in Dublin, Ireland on May 26, 2024.
