American singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan announced that her third studio album “Me Again” will be released on May 17, 2024.
The album is her first body of work in two years since the 2022 album “I Blame the World”.
Also. it is the first release as an independent artist. She left RCA Records after releasing her sophomore album in 2023.
The album comprises a 13-track, featuring a guest appearance from American singer-songwriter Ruston Kelly, and produced by King Henry.
Sasha Alex Sloa shared on social media, “The full album out May 17th!! So excited to have this out in the world. This album is very emo if you can't tell so far so I hope yall are ready to cry lmao. With this album, I wanted to be more honest, because I was fucking sad.”- From the album, she unveiled the second single called “Me Again” on March 15, 2024, following the release of “Highlights” last month.
It was written by Sasha Alex Sloan, and King Henry, who also produced the track.
Sasha Alex Sloan said of the song, “The perspective reflects how I felt writing this whole record. Kind of confused, hopeless, knowing there's a light at the end of the tunnel, but now knowing how things are gonna play out or how I'm gonna get there.” - source : Apple Music
