  • SOFT PLAY Premieres New Song “Mirror Muscles” on BBC Radio 1

  • British punk rock duo SOFT PLAY, consisting of Isaac Holman (vocals/drums/trumpet/flute) and Laurence 'Laurie' Vincent (guitar/bass/keyboards), premiered a new song “Mirror Muscles” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.

The song is the second single off of their upcoming fourth studio album, which is set to be released later this year, following the release of “Punk's Dead” featuring Robbie Williams last September.
It was written by Isaac Holman, Laurence Vincent, and Jolyon Thomas who also produced the track.
The duo said of the song in a statement, “We love to work out. We frequent the local gymnasium. These are some thoughts we had while we were there.“
Laurence Vincent told Clara Amfo about the song, “This we've worked on this song longer than any song ever. So Isaac played me the Baby Dave versions side projects and before that had come out so January last year. And I was just like, this is so good. We need to do something with it. And then we made this version of it. But we made three versions because it just the songs so good. It needed. We needed to do it justice. So we only handed it in January this year.”
