Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Nikitaa released a new song “Godless” on March 15, 2024.
The song is the second single of 2024, following “Heaven” released last month.
Also, the song will appear on their upcoming EP, which is expected to be release in 2024.
The track was written and produced by Nikita Mehta, and co-written by Londin Thompson.
The song captures the journey from vulnerability to empowerment and true to its theme of defiance, incorporating choral and orchestral elements to create a powerful pop.
Nikitaa said of the song, “Not to spiritual and faithful people writing a song called 'Godless' lmao. This song isn't about faith in a higher power - it's about faith in yourself, and how that reflects on who you choose to stay with, who deserves your love.”- They continued, “I don't know about you but I'm going through a storm right now. The only difference between this one and the one before is I have some clarity - I can see I'm not the same person I was before. I can see my growth, the improved emotional intelligence and coping skills. I came more prepared for this storm than the ones before.”
They added, “It still hit me just as hard. That scares me. The only thing that carries me through is that I know I can do it. I can get through it. I want to. So if you're in a storm - this song is for you. We'll get through it.” -
