British singer-songwriter Elmiene premiered a new song “Crystal Tears” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is his first music since the 2023 EP “Marking My Time” and follows up the EP “Live at RAK Studios”.
Also, the song is the first single off of his upcoming project.
Elmiene shared on social media, “New Project has been cut up, seasoned with many a seasoning, pomegranate molasses poured on top. Wrapped in aluminum put in a rice cooker with some rice. Yayyyyy steamed project and rice… basically all of this to say the starter of this project Crystal Tears is coming on BBC Radio 1 as Hottest Record.”
The track was written by Abdala Elamin, and Dernst Emile II who also produced the track.
Elmiene explained about the song as part 2 of “Mad At Fire”, which is featured on the EP “Marking My Time”.- Elmiene told Clara Amfo about the song, “For me, crystal was fragility. It was kind of because I mean the song is to me when I'm glad I want to say this but 'Crystal Tears' is part two of “Mad At Fire” which I made last year. 'Mad At Fire', the story is it's a man, basically like to know Jones is where I want to be what he's telling his woman. I feel like I'm it's healthy for both of us, finally. But 'Crystal Tears' is him realizing. So it's kind of like, for me 'Crystal Tears' was kind of the fragility and the sea threat of his tears because he's kind of faced with it like, you made a decision, you did it. And I couldn't cry it to me like, this is a bit mad. I'm the woman in the situation, by the way. It's the BS. The intention behind what you're saying.”
