Brooklyn-based alt-rock band American Authors, consisting of Zac Barnett (vocals), Dave Rublin (bass) and Matt Sanchez (drums), released a new song “Daisies” on April 19, 2024.
The song is the second single since the 2023 album “Best Night of My Life”, following the release of “My Last Dime” last month.
The track was written by Dave Rublin, Matt Sanchez, Zac Barnett, and Zac Taylor. Produced by Matt Sanchez and American Authors.
The band said of the song, “This song is very special to us. Life and relationships have their ups and down, this song is about learning from past mistakes, learning how to grow and be all you can be for the ones most special people in life. Seasons come and go, winter turns to spring. Deep in the earth new life is underneath waiting to bloom, we hope you enjoy our song about changing for the better, and give yourself grace to be all you can be for you and those around you.”- They continued, “The process of songwriting is one we all cherish and pushed ourselves into new territory. Production wise we also pushed hard to be authentic, organic & dug deeper into this new sound. We loved creating it for you.”
