British singer-songwriter Natasha Khan, aka Bat For Lashes released a cover of American DJ Baauer's “Home” on April 25, 2024.
The song is taken from her upcoming sixth studio album “The Dream of Delphi”, which is set to be released May 31, 2024.
The original version of the song is featured on Baauer's sophomore album “Planet's Mad”, which was released in 2020.
It was written by Harrison Rodrigues, and produced by Natasha Khan, Tyler Karmen, and TJ Allen.
The track is dedicated to her daughter Delphi.
Natasha Khan said of the song, “It was Delphi's favourite song. We just played it over and over and over again every time we got in the car and she'd giggle and squeal. So I did it for her, really - because when she looks back on this album, we can say that was your favourite song that you loved as a little baby”.- Sha shared on social media, “'Home' is dedicated to Delphi and her early love of house piano bangers and romantic driving songs. It's a cover of the Special Request remix of Baauer and Bipolar Sunshine's 'Home' which was her favourite song to listen to in the car. It continually made her dance and giggle whenever it was on, and brings back precious memories of driving around LA together.”
