Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Club Lotus Returns With New Song “Stole My Ace”
New York-based indie R&B band Club Lotus, consisting of Anna Siciliano (vocals), Dylan Kelly (guitar), Marley Perez (guitar), and Justin Gibble (drums), returned with a new song “Stole My Ace” on April 19, 2024.
The song is their first music in a year since the 2023 debut EP “Lifeline”.
“Stole My Ace” isn't necessarily a romantic song, but in essence it's about taking love back from people that stole it.
The track was written by Anna Siciliano, Dylan Kelly, and Marley Perez.
“This song, like many songs, was written almost as a form of therapy,” the band lead singer Anna Siciliano said of the song. “I often write when I'm emotionally overwhelmed, so it acts as stress relief. My goal when writing lyrics is always to express exactly what I'm feeling in the moment of writing, and to let go of any abundance of emotion. That way, hopefully, people who listen to the song can feel the same release as I did when I wrote it.”- Photo by Ethan Holland
