Tiny Habits Announces Debut Album “All for Something”, Shares New Song “Wishes”
American folk-pop vocal trio Tiny Habits, consisting of Cinya Khan, Maya Rae and Judah Mayowa, has announced their highly-anticipated debut album “All for Something” will be released on May 24, 2024.
The album comprises a 12-track, produced by Tony Berg and Will Maclellan.
On the album, they take on themes of sensitivity, insecurity, nostalgia, love and friendship.
From the album, the trio released the fourth single called “Wishes” on April 23, 2024.
The track was written by Cinya Khan, Judah Mayowa, and Maya Rae. Produced by Tony Berg and Will Maclellan.
The accompanying music video was directed by Caleb Spilios.
The track shares their innermost vulnerabilities, opening up about everything from family dynamics and body image to anxiety and people-pleasing, with each member contributing their own verse to the track in the hopes that their shared thoughts and feelings might help others feel not quite so alone.
Each member explained about the song on social media.
Cinya Khan said, “I remember starting this song and thinking it felt unoriginal. I felt like I had already written songs about wanting a different life or a different set of circumstances. But I came to the realization that my experience, while unique to me, was one shared by so many others. When Judah and Maya wrote their verses the song truly came to life. Shared honesty will always be original. And confessional songwriting can be the most potent of all.”- Maya Rae said, “I remember when Cin played Wishes for the first time... I've never connected so much to a song. Writing my own verse to this already heart wrenching, emotional, and vulnerable song felt so cathartic and honestly, just so healing. To me, this feels like our most important statement as a band. It's the most honest thing that has come out of the three of us as a unit. As scary as this was, it was a turning point for each of us. We've been waiting a long time to share this with the world, and I feel so incredibly excited and nervous for you all to listen”

Judah Mayowa said, “I remember immediately falling in love with Wishes the moment Cin brought it to us. When she asked Maya and I to write our own verses, I was unsure of sharing something so revealing. I truly thought I wasn't going to be able to articulate feelings so vulnerable and personal to myself. But as soon as I sat down and began writing the emotions poured out of me and onto the paper. I couldn't hold back. It was something my physical and spiritual being needed. This song became such a crucial turning point in my song writing. Now, I only want to create honest art and never want to shy away from vulnerability. I hope that this song helps the listener to find the motivation to be honest with themselves and the people they love. While we may feel isolated it is so important to remember you are not alone... and you are not a burden.”
