Los Angeles-based pop-R&B singer-songwriter Yarin Glam released her brand new single called “OWN WORST ENEMY” on March 22, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “BURN IT DOWN”, which was released back in January.
The track narrates her own experience with self sabotage, low self-esteem and generally not being your own friend.
It was written by Christopher Valenzuela, Dream Addix, Michael Ferrucci, and Yarin Glam.
Yarin Glam said of the song, “I've lived my whole life being my own worst enemy and I've decided to write about that. It's a dark place, but there's hope. You can get out of it.”- Yarin Glam was born and raised in Israel. Her music touches on topics including female empowerment, mental health and self-love.
She said of her music, “I'd say I write a lot about mental health, my struggles with it, the struggles of being a woman in this toxic society we have. I write about those subjects because I want others to know that they're not alone in this.” - source : Apple Music
