  • HONNE Returns With New Song “Imaginary”

  • London-based electro-pop duo HONNE, consisting of James Hatcher (producer) and Andy Clutterbuck (vocals/producer), returned with a new song “Imaginary” on April 19, 2024.

The song is their first own music in three years since the 2021 album “LET’S JUST SAY THE WORLD ENDED A WEEK FROM NOW, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?”.
As the single, the song follows up the remix of Jacob Collier's “Never Gonna Be Alone”, which was released in 2022.
Also, it is the first release as an independent artist.
The track was written and produced by HONNE.

Andy Clutterbuck said of the song, “‘Imaginary’ is about beginnings. It tells the story of when I first met my wife all those years ago back in college and how my imagination ran wild thinking about kids and our future lives together. Luckily for me it all came true and now we’re happily married with two babies."
  • The accompanying music video was directed by William Coutts.
Andy Clutterbuck said of the video, “We came up with an idea and developed the story with director William Coutts (who happens to be my wife’s brother). From the locations, to catering, to the props and more - we did everything ourselves with the help of our families and friends. It was FULL ON but amazing when we pulled it off. We even went back to our old college where I met my wife all those years ago, so it’s just about as true to the story as it gets. My dad and James’ mum even have (very obvious!) cameos in the video, making this an all star family production.”

  • The duo shared on social media, “Many thanks to all those who helped us pull this video off. Strode College for letting us take a trip down memory lane and allowing us to film in so many locations and for all the help from the wonderful staff and students. The Clutterbucks and the Hatchers for organising our chaos and for your generous hospitality. The Coutts family for allowing us access to a treasure trove of props. Nigel Strickland for providing us with power on the go. The Chidleys for being such daredevils. Auntie A and Uncle Peter for stepping in last minute with much needed wardrobe and pyrotechnics.”

They continued, “And last but not least, a big thank you to Stirling Sievey and the family of Frank Sidebottom. Someone pointed out that the head we made for our music video reminded them of Frank Sidebottom so we reached out and Stirling kindly gave his blessing for us to go ahead with the video release. We really appreciate it.”
