British singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins released the seventh single called “numb” from his upcoming debut album “hi, my name is insecure.” on April 16, 2024.
The song depicts Sam Tompkins lay his emotional pain on the line as he longs to be released from its clutches.
The track was written and produced by Mark West and Sam Tompkins.
Sam Tompkins said of the song, “'numb' is all about the feeling of wanting to feel nothing at all. Sometimes when you're struggling that's the only thing you want. An escape. That's what I want this song to be… something you can scream in the car or in your room when you feel like the world's not listening. I really hope people like it.”- The debut album is set to be released on July 9, 2024, and comprises a 16-track.
He is currently supporting Australian rapper Kid Laroi on his UK & European tour through April 27, 2024.
