British rapper Aitch premiered a new song “Famous Girl” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative single “Grey” with Yung Filly, which was released back in February.
In the lyrics, Aitch featured the name of 22 celebs, the likes of Lizzo, Fergie, H.E.R, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, Tyla, Anne-Marie, Mahalia, Iggy Azalea, Raye, Nella Rose, Sophie Piper, Megan The Stallion, Jorja Smith, Ice Spice, Snoochie, Ella Mai, Pink Pantheress, Michelle Keegan, Amelia Dimoldenberg, and Rubi Rose.
The track was written by Harrison Armstrong, and Johnny Goldstein who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Marisa Garner.
Aitch told Jack Saunders about the song, “I actually, I'll be so honest with you. I only had that tune. And I was making famous girl. It was as in the process of it, My friend Johnny, who made the beat. He was working out what we should do on the day playing different things. We played a lot of Dr. Dre, playing a lot of Eminem. And then ended up playing that GloRilla song was like, right, we're gonna just mash this together and see what happens. And it came with that.”- source : BBC Radio 1
