London-based electropop band Sohodolls released a new song “Mother Wouldn't Like It” on April 19, 2024.
The song is the second single of 2024, following the release of “What Kinda Love” back in February.
Also, the track will appear on their upcoming sophomore album.
The band lead singer Maya Von Doll wrote the song with her friends' band in 1990s.
This time, she revived the song for Sohodolls.
The track was written by Ben Woods, Gavin Panton, Harry Purser, Maya von Doll, and Nick Fowles.

“I wrote this song with another band that I was friends with back in the noughties,” Maya Von Doll said of the song. “When their band disbanded, I asked if I could have this song and tweak it to make it Sohodolls. I've had it on hold for years and years but feel that now the time is right to unleash it. I wonder if the menacing guitar riff will captivate listeners the way it used to captivate me when I'd watch my friends' band play in dodgy London venues where you'd have beer crates form the stage.”- source : Apple Music
