British singer-songwriter James Arthur teamed up with American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson to release a new duet version of “From The Jump” on April 19, 2024.
This marks first collaboration between James Arthur and Kelly Clarkson. But James Arthur performed a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s song “Stronger” while competing on The X-Factor UK back in 2012.
The original version of the song is featured on his fifth studio album “Bitter Sweet Love”, which was released back in January.
The track was written by James Arthur, Jamie Graham, and Steven Solomon who also produced it.
James Arthur said, “When I heard Kelly’s vocals on this, my mind was blown. What a great honor to have someone of her caliber feature on one of my favorite songs from this body of work.”
Kelly Clarkson added, “I love singing with artists who inspire me and vocalists I adore. So when James Arthur sent me this song, I quite literally jumped to be on it.
