Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Catpack Releases New Song “Midnight”
Los Angeles-based the new project Catpack, consisting of Amber Navran (vocals), Jacob Mann (keyboard), and Phil Beaudreau (producer/trumpet), released a brand new song called “Midnight” on April 11, 2024.
The song is third single off of their upcoming self-titled debut album, which is set to be released on June 21, 2024.
The debut album is a whimsical and light-hearted venture featuring 10 tracks.
The alternative R&B meets nocturnal funk “Midnight” came through a jam session, which took place at Phil Beaudreau’s apartment.
The track vividly replays Phil Beaudreau’s missteps and memories describing how they linger as he drifts into sleep.
Phil Beaudreau said of the song, “I kept envisioning shadows dancing across the wall at night, experiencing a mix of restlessness, melancholy, and a hint of mischievous delight... all of which served as inspiration for the lyrics.”- Photo by Lauren Desberg
